Brazin (B)old Vine Zinfandel 2012
It's a bit of a stretch to call this wine "Brazin," since it didn't quite have the bold and brazen flavors its name promised. It certainly smelled aromatic, but lacked the flavor punch I've come to expect with California Zins.
It was a fairly balanced wine with notes of blackberry and chocolate and a bit of pepper at the finish. As the wine warmed and opened up, it got significantly better.
